The Who Pays wheel settles who picks up the check by spinning a wheel of everyone at the table. It looks like a fair game of chance, but on PrankWheel you can secretly rig it so it lands on the friend you choose. Record their reaction and share it.

The game

Credit-card roulette meets the wheel of names. Everyone at the table goes on the wheel. Someone spins, and whoever it lands on pays for everyone. It’s tense, it’s dramatic, and it makes a perfect 15-second video.

The prank

You already know who’s paying. Before you spin:

  1. Put everyone on the wheel, yourself included.
  2. Long-press the victim’s slice until your phone buzzes (or press their number key).
  3. Pass the phone around and let someone else spin. It’s still rigged.
  4. Watch the wheel slow down, tick… tick… tick… and land on them.

Want maximum drama? Open the secret settings and switch on the fake-out. The wheel stops on the person next to your victim, pauses while everyone celebrates, then creeps one more notch.

Make it a video

Keep auto-record switched on. After the spin, tap Save clip to get a vertical video with the wheel, the question (“Who’s paying for sushi? 🍣”), the result and confetti. It goes straight to TikTok, Reels or Shorts from your share sheet.

Then hit Reveal prank for the follow-up clip.

Type any of them into the wheel title. It appears in the recorded clip.

Frequently asked questions

How do you decide who pays the bill with a wheel?

Add the name of everyone at the table, then spin. Whoever the wheel lands on pays. It's a popular alternative to credit-card roulette, where the waiter draws a card at random.

Can I rig the who pays wheel?

Yes. Before spinning, long-press the slice of the friend who should pay (or press their number key). The spin looks completely normal and lands on them.

Is credit card roulette the same thing?

Credit card roulette is the same game played with everyone's cards in a pile. The wheel version is faster, works for remote groups, and is easier to film.

Can everyone spin it from their own phone?

Yes. Share the wheel link in the group chat. If you send a rigged link from the secret settings, every phone that opens it lands on the same person.

Should I really make my friend pay?

That's between you and your friend. Most people reveal the prank afterwards with the YOU'VE BEEN PRANKED button and then split the bill properly.
